Welcome Dear Friends!
I have found it is the small things.
Everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkest at bay.
Simple acts of kindness and love.

About pages? What do you think of when you hear these words? For me I think of an an introduction to a new person, a first impression if you will. That is why I think I struggle so greatly with the idea of writing an about page. I have never been to comfortable talking, or in this case writing about myself, which is why I have put off this task for some time now. Who am I? Well, to tell the truth, I am not sure, as I am still growing. I think we all grow and change as we go through life. Who I am today, is not who I was a few years ago. I personally think that is a good thing, it means I am growing, hopefully in virtue and character. Well, here we go.
Anything can happen if you let it Mary Poppins
My name is Kimberly and I am so grateful you are here. I am wife (25 years this July), mother to 3, daughter, and sister. I am now in my late 40’s, (wow) and finding that I have grown so much over the years, in most part due to the Catholic faith. I grew up Catholic, but not really practicing and understanding the beauty and truth that lies within the faith. It has really only been in recent years that I discovered tradition and what it really means to be Catholic. I am so grateful for the trials and tribulations that I went through that lead me to the discovery of tradition in the Church.
What can you expect here on this page? Well, I am not entirely sure at this point, but I know that I have a love for writing and reading. I would love to be able to build a community around those things in which bring a little joy in such a harsh world. I not only want to write on this page, but converse with you as we journey together looking for the light in the darkness. I pray you will join me!
